Sustaining Well-Being and Activism Techniques

As a result of the 2021 military coup in Myanmar, people all across the society have been severely affected by various forms of violence. Activists, in particular, suffer long without seeking help, as they are dedicated to working for others, but ignore taking care of themselves.

SEM´s long-time partner International Women’s Partnership for Peace and Justice (IWP) has been organizing a Sustaining Well-Being and Activism workshop in person for activists and those who experienced the different waves of violent political upheaval, both current and historic, and looking for ways to take better care of themselves.

We acknowledged the need and limitation of access to the workshop, especially for people from the conflict areas, so we have developed this ‘Sustaining Well-being Activism’ series to serve the wider and remote audiences who are interested in alternative ways of taking care of your well-being and also to sustain your activism.

This series combined 9 episodes with English and Burmese subtitles available on our Facebook page and YouTube channel or you can click the following links below.
